PRAISE AND WORSHIP IN SCRIPTURES!!!

What is praise and Worship?
Other people have crammed ever since that Praising is singing at high tempo and dancing but worshiping is all about singing in low tempo, humbly and crying!
Who initiated and ordered THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP?
If you had never known; then that is our survival purpose and the most admirable mass by God!

WHAT DOES THE SCRIPTURES SAY ABOUT PRAISE AND WORSHIP?

There are several  ways the Bible has talked about praise and worship, it has well explained what is it? why and how to go about it?
But in Psalm the Bible has given real songs.......

Psalm 18:1-3 (KJV)

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said,> I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. “God chooses grace rather than works”(Ephesians 2:8-9)

This means that if the weak come to Him, He would help their weakness just as He would help the strong. God knows we are weak – that is why He chooses grace. If God had chosen works rather than grace, man would have the autonomy to choose whom to help with his works and how to do His works.

The battle would be for the strongest leaving no room for people like me (T.B. Joshua). The race would be for the swiftest leaving no room for people like me (T.B. Joshua).”

Isaiah 6:8 – “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

T.B. Joshua is just one of those who have submitted to the will of God. He acknowledges that if God had chosen works rather than grace, no one would merit His mercy.

In a sermon titled, “By His Grace”, he explained:“Wisdom in the practical sense of ability and skill cannot guarantee success in life. It is the goodness of our cause that interests God more than physical and mental disposition. This explains why the weak people like me who are without great strength, a smooth tongue, fast legs or high learning should ever remain grateful to God”.

Right from the outset of his incredible journey, the hand of God has been clearly evident in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua. He was born on June 12th, 1963 in the small village of Arigidi in Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. The pregnancy period of his mother was by no means ordinary, as the baby remained in her womb for 15 months before he was born. Significantly, almost a hundred years prior to his birth, it had been prophesied that a young man would emerge from the poor Oosin quarters and that God would use him mightily. Another remarkable event occurred when he was three days old, as a large boulder crashed through the roof of his house, missing the baby by mere inches. This incident led to his mother naming him, ‘Temitope’, meaning, ‘What You (God) have done for me is worthy of thanks’.

During his elementary education at St. Stephen’s Anglican primary school, Arigidi, he was the leader of the Student Christian fellowship. He was the smallest in the class but led the prayer during the school devotions and was known as ‘small pastor’. He was unable to complete his secondary education due to poverty.

Reflecting on his early life, he said: “I found myself in a family background that irritated me. My natural circumstance of birth was poverty. I come from a very humble background. Poverty loomed large in the family. The little education I had was through self-effort. I know many people with a similar circumstance of birth who did otherwise. They allowed their circumstance to influence their will. Their dreams crashed on the rocks of disappointment, failure and setback …In those early years of my life, we knew we would be blamed for what we gave our attention to.”

In an article written by T.B. Joshua himself, titled, ‘Everything Big Starts Little’, he explains more…

Very early in life, he knew how much he needed God, so he did not allow the situation around him to affect his relationship with God. As described in his own words, T.B. Joshua recounts how he discovered the direction of God’s calling for his life:

Life After Life

“I was in a trance for three consecutive days, then I saw a hand that pointed a Bible to my heart and the Bible entered my heart and my former heart seemed to immerse with the Bible immediately. Then the awareness came and I saw the apostles and prophets of old with someone whose head I could not see because He was tall to the heaven and suspended, which I believe was our Lord Jesus Christ sitting in their midst. I also saw myself in their midst. After a while, I saw a hand of the same tall man, I could not behold His face, which was glittering with an unimaginable light, tall to the high heavens and suspended in the air. But other apostles I could see their faces, particularly Apostles Peter and Paul, Prophets Moses, Elijah and others. Their names were boldly written on their chests.

I heard a voice saying, “I am your God; I am giving you a divine commission to go and carry out the work of the Heavenly Father”. At the same time, the same hand of the tall man gave me a small cross and a big Bible, bigger than the one that entered my heart with a promise that as I keep pressing in His time and name, I would be given a bigger cross but if I fail the opposite would occur. I also heard a voice of the same tall man, I could not see His head, saying, I am the Lord your God who was and who is – Jesus Christ, giving orders to all the apostles and prophets. The same voice said to me, “I would show you the wonderful ways I would reveal myself through you, in teaching, preaching, miracles, signs and wonders for the salvation of souls”.

Since then, I have been receiving in my vision, every year according to my faithfulness to God, a bigger cross that means to me more responsibilities.

The Bible that entered my heart symbolized Spirit and life (The Holy Spirit). God’s Word is Spirit and life. He does nothing without His Word. The book of Romans 8:16 says, God’s Spirit joins Himself to our spirit to declare that we are children of God. The Father gave the Spirit to make us like His Son.

Father, thank You for Your Spirit, fill us with Your love and power, change us into Christ’s own image, day by day and hour by hour.

God Himself performs the divine anointing on all who have the wonderful privilege of becoming His children (2 Corinthians 1:21-23 and Luke 24:48-49).

Obedient to the divine call, T.B. Joshua, started a ministry with a mere eight members, prophetically naming it, ‘The Synagogue, Church of All Nations’ of which he is the General Overseer. Today, by the grace of God, as a man of faith, he is both a representative of God and of people. The ministry started very small, but has now grown far beyond the shores of Nigeria.

Evidently, T.B. Joshua has come a long way, full of troubles and hurdles, but all the way long, there has been an unseen hand of God intervening in his affairs. In every situation, he has remained focused on what God has to say.

For those whose lives are centred in Christ Jesus, the best is always yet to come…

Ni muda mrefu wakristo wamekosa aina nyingine ya burudani yenye maadili na iliyo katika misingi ya Kimungu, ambayo ni huru kwa familia yote zaidi ya ibaada za kanisani, mikutano ya injili na matamasha ya uzinduzi au ya kusifu na kuabudu. Na ni vijana wengi ambao wana vipaji makanisani ambao wameshindwa kutumia au kuonyesha vipaji vyao kwasababu aitha mazingira ya kanisa hayaruhusu vitu hivyo,wamekosa wangalizi,hawajiamini au  kanisa lina mtizamo hasi juu ya mambo hayo.

Lakini ni dhahiri kuwa Mungu alituzawadia vipawa na karama mbalimbali kwa makusudi na kila alichotupa kina nafasi ya kumrudishia sifa na ni kiungo cha ibaada.

Tulizoea kuona vichekesho(comedy), zikifanywa sana na watu tu wa huko duniani(secular), lakini sasa sanaa hii iko madhabahuni na imethibitika kuwa na kibali na faida kubwa sana kwa wakristo, hii itabadilisha kabisa mtazamo wa kuona kama kanisani ni mahali pa kuwa serious na kulia tu wakati bila kucheka wala kufurahi.

•    Kuondoa sumu mwilini, maana unapocheka mishipa inafunguka na damu inatembea vizuri na homoni na viyeyushi tiba vinaachiliwa mwilini.
•    Kuondoa au kupunguza msongo wa mawazo(stress), yaani nafsi na akili vinapata vitu laini vya kufanya ufanye kazi nyepesi na siyo hizo nzito zisizo na majibu kichwani.
•    Kuongeza uzuri wa sura, uchangamfu wa mifupa na kudumisha urafiki, jambo ambalo linaongeza imani ya kawaida kuwa hauko mpweke, mbali na kuwa Mungu.

“haikuwa rahisi watu kuelewa haraka hii Stand up Comedy, ambayo ni Comedy halisi, nakumbuka mara ya kwanza kusimama kwenye jukwaa kubwa ilikuwa mwaka 2009 katika Mkusanyiko wa wanafunzi wa vyuo vikuu maarufu kama CAMPUS NIGHT,mikusanyiko ambayo hufanyika kila mwaka na huandaliwa na Kanisa la VICTORY CHRISTIAN CENTRE(VCC), mkesha ambao ilifanyika pale uwanja wa taifa  na ulikuwa na zaidi ya washiriki 12,000. Hapo watu walicheka sana na watu wengi walijua kuwa kuwa jambo hili ni zuri na linafaa sana katika kanisa la leo, Tangu hapo nikaendelea zaidi kushiriki mikutanoni,makanisani na mikusanyiko mbalimbali ya wakristo na baada ya kuona ipo haja ya kufanya wazo hili lijitegemee, ndipo nikaanzisha mfululizo(SERIES) wa matamasha ya kikristo ya comedy. Mfululizo huu ulianza mwaka jana(Nov 20, 2011) pale Ubungo plaza na una jina liitwalo “LAUGH AGAIN CONCERT SERIES” yaani MFULULIZO WA MATAMASHA YA KUCHEKA TENA” Picha nyingi zinaonyesha namna siku hiyo ilivyokuwa imefana.”

LAUGH AGAIN CONCERTS zitaendelea kufanyika nchini mpaka hapo ambapo mikoa yote itakuwa imefikiwa na kwa kuanzia Msimu huu wa kwanza (SEASON ONE) itakuwa na matamasha nane(8) na kati ya hayo Dar es salaam(3), Arusha(1), Mwanza(1),Dodoma(2) na Mbeya(1), ambayo yataanza March mpaka September 2012. LAUGH AGAIN CONCERT Season One itakuwa na matamasha nane katika mikoa mitano ya hapa nchini kwa kuanzia, Matamasha haya yatafanyika kuanzia March-August/September 2012 katika mikoa ya Dar es salaam(3),Arusha(1),Mwanza(1),Dodoma(2) na Mbeya(1).

Ambaye ni MC Maarufu ,Mchekeshaji(stand up comedian) na Muasisi wa christian stand up comedy Tanzania, ambaye ndiye Mchekeshaji mkuu na Project manager wa hii project,amesema matamasha haya yatakuwa endelevu na yatafika katika kila mkoa wa Tanzania na baadae mwaka huu tunategemea kuanzisha vipindi maalum katika televisheni  kadhaa nchini na mbeleni zaidi kutunza matamasha hayo katika DVDs. Zaidi mwaka huu tutakuwa na Movie project ambazo zitawahusisha vipaji vipya kabisa sana sana katika tasnia ya Stand Up ComeDY

Akielezea  malengo ya series hii kwa undani katika mchanganuo wa wazo hili au idea hii, Chavala ameandika haya….(tumenukuu)

I.                    “…….PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

The project has come about with the following objectives;

i.                     Building another platform of uncommon flavored pleasures/outing through which people will be enjoying and get healed of their stresses through natural LAUGHING therapy. In short creating another room of relaxation and enjoyment.

ii.                   Bring up abandoned/frozen and or forgotten talents on top layer in a modern presentation, along with nurturing and promoting new up-comings potentials, such as STAND UP COMEDIES that is not common in Tanzania.

iii.                   Portraying our natural belongings, culture, creativity and heritage to the world through ARTS via another media, for this concert will be recorded to be viewed throughout the world.

iv.                 Building another platform of NETWORKING, where by different people with different potentials, professionals, carriers and other stake holders will interchange and link different information that might be advantageous mutually. 

v.                    Along with all these objectives, also the concert will be dedicative to diffent celebration or ceremonies that will collide with our plans and thus to give people opportunities to enjoy their moments extraly.

Si watu wote wanaweza kung’ang’ania idea ambazo ni mpya na zinaonekana kuwa na upinzani wa watu wengi, kimsingi watu wengi huwa hawapendi kutangulia mbele kama wachache wetu wanavyofanya, Chavala ni moja ya wanaharakati vijana nchini ambao wana mawazo makubwa, ingawa utaratibu wa nchi  yetu ndio unafanya watu kama hawa wasitambulike haraka hapa nchini!

Clown Chavala is the Visionary and sole owner of this Idea and star performer of this concert series, this man has very great passion to see everybody lives by his/her own potential, this guy’s popularity is increasing very strategically and his influence is rising daily for he lives for mankind.

 His uniqueness potential has become the commodity and adventerous experience among different groups of people in Tanzania and since the moment he decided to invest his tireless effort on it, we can see the achievements, especially from the previous concert.

Clown Chavala whose real name is FREDY ERASTO CHAVALA

He is the University graduate in area of Business Administration and Management working with his own company called GREAT POTENTIALS LIMITED as CEO/Managing Director, cocomitantly he works with HEROES MOVEMENT TANZANIA(NGO) as Pionering Director of Investiment and Entrepreneurship from 2009 up to now.

Moreover  is the Tanzanian patriot, Youth Development Activist, Thinker and Ideas Developer, Professional Events organizer and manager, Master of Ceremonies, Author, Natural Leader, Motivational speaker and Counselor, Practicing Entrepreneur, Business and Management consultant by professional and moreover he is the long experienced Dramatist and Artist(for about 10years), being doing song writing and singing; poems/stories/plays and film compositions; movie casting; wear and graphics designing, storytelling, dancing and Stand up comedies in different occasions, events and concerts

He has attended different national and international youth and professional events and conferences, also participated in preparations of different mega events in Tanzania such as FROM ZERO TO HERO CONCERTS by Heroes Movement Tanzania, CHANGE YOUR DESTINY CONFERENCE by Life Ministry Tanzania, and ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY by East Africa Speakers bureau and to mention a few.

He has planned and moderated several different kinds of ceremonies such as wedding, camps, conferences, parties, outings and many more for instance Street university Events and Concerts by Eric Shigongo and James Mwang’amba.

He real loves arts and and always he does perform his arts with great love and passion.

Moreover he always does the so called “EDU-ENTERTAINMENT” It might be very funny thing/presentation but very inspiring.

 He always says “INSPIRE BEFORE YOU EXPIRE”……….Mwisho wa kunukuu!

Akielezea mafanikio ya kampeni hii ya kutambulisha Stand Up Comedy katika Ulimwengu wa Kikristo, Chavala amesema….mafanikio ni mazuri na wengi wameanza kuelewa kuwa ni jambo jema ambalo litasaidia vipaji vingi vilelewe katika maadili ya kumtukuza Mungu badala ya watu wote kukimbilia duniani.pili vijana wengi wenye vipaji wameipokea kwa mikono miwili na wanaifurahia.

 Na kwa kuwa wakristo hawana burudani zaidi ya kwenda ibadani,mikutanoni,na kwenye matamasha ya uzinduzi au uchangishaji mbalimbali…sasa hii ni aina nyingine ya burudani ambayo itawafaa watu wote wakiwemo watoto,maana hakuna mambo mabaya ambayo yanaongelewa huko.
